The Arts and Diamonds Sparkled at Bachendorf's

BACHENDORF’S HOSTS EVENING OF ART AND DIAMONDS BENEFITING ARTS OF COLLIN COUNTY
Collin County, Texas – September 29, 2009 – Arts of Collin County supporters Mellie and Bob Baggett and Dona and Terry Timm hosted an evening of art and diamonds as well as a live auction at Bachendorf’s at The Shops at Legacy North on September 17. Guests enjoyed drinks and hors d'oeuvres by Gordon Biersch and were treated to “Intensitini” martinis that were inspired by Bachendorf’s newest line of jewelry, Hearts on Fire.
A signature Hearts on Fire diamond pendant was donated by Bachendorf’s and offered in a live auction by Mike Simpson, Executive Director of the Arts of Collin County. The winning bid of $2,900 was made by Leslie Campbell of Allen, who plans to give the pendant to a much-deserving family member. Campbell will also receive equal-value naming rights at the Arts of Collin County.

The Arts of Collin County (ACC) is a nationally recognized, innovative, public-private partnership to develop a 100+ acre arts park. Co-owned by the cities of Allen, Frisco and Plano, with operational support by member cities, Fairview and Melissa, the development of the arts park is supported with $57 million in bond monies, $3 million in Collin County Open Space Grant funds, and an additional $17 million financial support from private individuals, corporations and foundations.
