The Complex
Stretching over a rolling 100+ acre site, The Arts of Collin County is located one-half mile east of Custer Road on the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) where the three Owner Cities (Allen, Frisco and Plano) meet. Valued at $22 million, Briar Ridge Investments donated the land – the largest donation of its kind in Collin County history.

The Arts Park and Performing Arts Hall are being jointly developed by the complex's owner cities of Allen, Frisco and Plano, along with Member Cities Fairview and Melissa. Public commitment to the project includes $57 million in bonds approved by residents of the owner cities, and up to an additional $3 million in Collin County grant funds. More than $10 million of pledged support from private businesses, foundations and individuals makes up the private partnership and will continue to grow as we work to fully fund Phase 1.
A better community begins here.
The Arts of Collin County will welcome more than 100 local arts organizations, offering them a convenient, affordable way to further their individual missions. The amount of music, dance, theater and other fine artistry they will bring to the complex will be unlike anything North Texas – and beyond – has ever experienced. Additionally, national touring artists, Broadway productions and dance troupes will make regular stops at this exciting new venue.

The educational opportunities afforded by the project will not only foster tomorrow's artists, musicians and actors, but will expand the horizons of every child who visits. After all, students involved in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement.
The complex is designed to be a part of its natural surroundings. Not only is the native landscape incorporated into the master plan, all structures will be built using sustainable construction practices. Our desire is to have an ecological footprint as small as our cultural one is big.
